Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter the store, assist on the sales floor, and answer the phone professionally within three rings.
• Operate the store cash register, handle cash and credit card transactions, process discounts, and balance the register.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the store area efficiently.
• Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Build positive, professional relationships with team members and leadership; collaborate cross-functionally to improve communication.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a hazard-free workplace by removing obstructions and keeping aisles clear.
• Maintain a professional appearance according to MERS/Goodwill dress code.
• Protect agency assets, including cash, donated, and purchased items, from harm or theft; report incidents of theft or unauthorized possession.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, safety, and security regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
