Job summary

Meijer in Rossford, OH is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across services, product and customer service. You will interact with customers and contribute to The Meijer way of above-and-beyond service.

You will support cart movement, trash collection, snow removal, returns and basic cleaning, while coordinating with service desks and departments to ensure smooth store operations and a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash in parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for clearing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
