Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store operations. You will interact with customers, assist with service desk areas, and support departments like Health and Beauty, Hardlines, and Fashion.

This role emphasizes customer service and teamwork in a busy store environment. Responsibilities include cart retrieval, trash collection, snow removal, returns handling, and basic cleaning.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Comfort in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with various departments across the store.
