Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to services provided by our store, product and customer service teams.

You will interact with customers, assist with cart duties, and support departments across the store in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes customer service, organization and willingness to perform a range of duties such as trash collection, cleaning, and assisting with service desks.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Assist with parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash collection.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, lanes and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments across Health & Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, Floral.
