Job summary

Bath & Body Works in United States is seeking an Assistant Brand Experience Leader to partner with the Brand Experience Leader to develop associates and deliver exceptional consumer experiences that drive growth across the store. You will lead a team of associates, set expectations, and execute on merchandising and operations to bring the brand story to life.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail environment, strong communication, and the ability to coach and de-escalate situations

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, consumer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a consumer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a consumer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and consumer situations effectively.
• Ability to meet physical demands as described above.
• Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Act as a leader on duty to address consumer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including banking, shipments, and disseminating directives.
• Set daily direction for the team and monitor performance.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to leaders.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and selling focus.
• Lead in-store consumer experiences through selling behaviors and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with consumers through needs uncovering and personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, and accountability.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and store standards.
