Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Bookkeeper (Grade A) to manage tender processing, sales reporting, deposits, and cash control in a fast-paced retail setting. You will balance drawers, handle daily deposits, and support Courtesy Counter operations while ensuring security and accuracy.

The role requires reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills, physical stamina for long shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work with products and maintain QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Record store sales and hourly readings; balance drawers daily.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
