Job summary

ShopRite in East Haven, CT is seeking a Bookkeeper to manage tender handling, sales reporting, deposits, and security procedures while supporting Courtesy Counter staff. This full-time role requires accuracy, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced grocery environment.

The position offers daily cash handling, store balance responsibilities, and adherence to QA and safety standards. Training is provided to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with various products and temperatures.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.
