Job summary

Living Spaces seeks a Manager of Retail BI & Analytics to oversee strategy, delivery, and ongoing development of BI, analytics, and AI across Retail. You will lead a team of BI professionals, partner with leadership, and translate data into actionable insights to drive performance and customer experience.

The role requires strong leadership, data storytelling, and expertise in Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, Excel, and emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in business intelligence, analytics, data, or reporting.
• Two or more years of direct people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, work prioritization, and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence, analytics, and AI solutions, including dashboards, scorecards, reporting, analytical models, automated processes, and AI-enabled tools that support retail performance and decision-making.
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable insights and innovative solutions by analyzing trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers across sales, labor, profitability, customer, and operational metrics.
• Present clear, concise, and compelling business narratives to executive and operational leaders, transforming data into recommendations that drive measurable results.
• Establish and maintain data governance, KPI standards, reporting methodologies, and technical best practices across Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, Excel, AI technologies, and related analytics platforms to ensure accurate, scalable, and reliable business intelligence solutions.
• Lead the Retail Business Intelligence & Analytics function by establishing department priorities, standards, and a strategic roadmap aligned with company objectives and retail growth initiatives.
• Hire, coach, develop, and mentor a team of BI and data professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, innovation, and business partnership.
