Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a Retail Scan Associate to visit designated store locations weekly, scanning barcodes on displays and in aisles. The role offers part-time hours with flexibility and the chance to work with major retailers across grocery, convenience, drug and mass merchandise sectors.

Your base hours average 6–10 per week per store, with additional hours for special projects, and travel is reimbursed at your hourly rate. This is a 52-week-per-year position with independence in the field.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles during assigned shifts.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete Display Scanning of the entire store weekly.
• This role supports 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
