Job summary

Equity Bank in Guymon, OK is seeking a Bank Manager to lead the Retail Banking department. You will drive deposits, consumer lending, and revenue growth while maintaining a strong control environment.

You will supervise staff, ensure excellent customer experiences, and promote bank services to local businesses. This full-time role requires travel during training and adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of working with a team to determine solutions.
• Willingness to travel to Wichita, KS during first week for training.
• Customer Service & Sales experience.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Retail Bank Net Income and Image in Community.
• Achieve budgeted retail banking targets for growth of deposits, consumer loans, and non-interest income.
• Control bank expenses as appropriate.
• Demonstrate operational soundness to minimize risk exposure and maintain quality production.
• Implement retail operating procedures and protocols.
• Proactively refer to bank partners to generate additional revenue.
• Participate in community groups/events to promote the bank’s image.
• Lead and manage the Retail Bank team with coaching and performance reviews.
• Provide on-site leadership and direction to retail bank employees.
• Guide hiring, compensation, scheduling, promotions, and discipline.
• Train and develop staff for current and future roles.
• Set objectives, coach, and evaluate performance.
• Deliver a superior customer experience with a welcoming and professional environment.
• Resolve client issues proactively and ensure follow-through by the team.
• Match bank products/services to client needs.
• Visit small business clients to assess needs and promote services.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations including BSA/AML, Information Security, and ethics policies.
• Maintain knowledge of deposit procedures and suspicious activity reporting.
• Work with clients to understand normal account activity and complete periodic training.
