Job summary

WesBanco in Damascus, MD is seeking a Retail Banking Officer to lead the banking center's daily sales, service and operations, while delivering exceptional customer service in person and by phone.

You will train and develop staff, promote bank products, meet sales goals, manage customer onboarding, and participate in community activities. This full-time, in-office role offers a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banking, customer service, and sales is required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is required.
• Ability to train and develop staff while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the banking center for daily sales, service and operations.
• Promote the bank's products and services while building customer relationships.
• Meet or exceed defined sales goals for loans, deposits and referrals.
• Handle customer transactions and account onboarding in person and by phone.
• Participate in community activities and external outreach as needed.
