Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Texas is seeking a Retail Assistant Branch Manager to align with Branch Manager, drive revenue, and grow consumer and business relationships. You will deliver the Woodforest Experience to customers daily, while partnering on community engagement and sales initiatives.

The role emphasizes coaching team members, leading outside calling where applicable, and maintaining excellent branch operations and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience.
• Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrable leadership ability; prior supervisory experience is helpful.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in achieving branch sales and revenue goals by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services.
• Develop and lead strategies to grow, retain and deepen customer relationships; grow deposits and loans.
• Enhance customer experience and represent the Bank in the community; lead and coach staff.
• Exhibit operational excellence and maintain confidentiality; follow policies and guidelines.
