Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Retail Banking Development Officer to strengthen sales performance across the branch network by coaching Relationship Bankers and improving customer engagement. You will influence teams to build deeper relationships, grow business results, and develop professionally.

This role offers leadership development, collaboration with branch leaders, and opportunities to shape retail growth across the network, with emphasis on travel between branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in retail banking, financial services, or sales coaching.
• 2+ years of success in a customer-facing banking role such as Relationship Banker, Branch Manager, or similar role.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Coach Relationship Bankers through one-on-one and group sessions to improve sales and relationship-building skills.
• Conduct in-branch observations and deliver real-time, actionable feedback to drive performance.
• Analyze sales metrics to identify trends and create targeted development plans.
• Partner with branch leaders to improve team effectiveness and achieve business goals.
• Facilitate training sessions on sales techniques, products, and customer engagement.
• Support consistent execution of sales processes and tools across branches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training with business strategies.
