Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Austin, TX, is seeking a Retail Associate to assist guests in our boutique stores. You will welcome customers, assess their needs, and process payments at the register while promoting sales and promotions.

The role requires strong communication, excellent customer service, and basic math skills. Prior retail experience is preferred, with a focus on maintaining store appearance and upselling products throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering guest service in a fast‑paced retail or hospitality setting.
• Ability to use a cash register and handle payments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

A Retail Associate is responsible for assisting guests as they shop in our boutiques.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcoming and engaging with guests as they enter the store

Assessing guests needs

Working with cash registers and processing payments

Communicating about sales and promotions

Using upselling techniques to increase store sales

Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing

Education and Experience:

• High School Education
• 1 Year Retail Experience preferred
