Job summary

ALDI USA store in New Britain, CT is hiring a store associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning while delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time role averages 30+ hours weekly with starting pay of $20.00 per hour and scheduled increases through Year 5 to $22.00.

You'll work with the ALDI team to maintain store standards, process purchases at the POS, assist with curbside and in-store pickup, and help meet operational goals while complying with company

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Ability to operate all store equipment including cash register, POS, and handheld devices.
• Ability to follow policies and maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock product on shelves.
• Operate cashiering and POS accurately.
• Assist customers and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain cleanliness and operating efficiency.
• Open additional check lanes as needed for efficient checkouts.
• Support curbside pickup and in-store orders fulfillment.
• Adhere to loss prevention and inventory procedures.
• Follow health, safety and ergonomics guidelines.
• Communicate with store management to achieve goals.
