Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment including cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices and computers.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Inform management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Accurately scan and process purchases using the POS system.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes to improve checkout efficiency.
• Stock shelves and merchandising displays according to planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain store area and merchandising standards.
• Support management in achieving efficiency and loss-reduction goals.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
