Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate to ensure our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers, follows company standards, maintains a clean work area, and ensures proper merchandise presentation across the store.

The role requires teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to assist Customers with merchandise while handling transactions with courtesy.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
• Maintains awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Greet Customers and assist with merchandise in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
• Respond to Customer Service calls promptly and escalate to Store Leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the Ross brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and merchandising standards.
• Follow MOS policies and manage stock and disposals per guidelines.
