Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, and maintain a clean store environment while following company standards.

The position emphasizes friendly service, accurate register transactions, and adherence to loss prevention and presentation guidelines to support overall store performance.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with eye contact and a friendly welcome, assist with merchandise, and answer questions in a courteous, knowledgeable manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized sales floor, including restrooms and high‑touch areas.
• Assist customers at the register, process transactions accurately, and follow MOS and store policies for cash handling.
• Replenish stock and merchandise presentation to monthly guidelines and ensure brand name familiarity within departments.
