Job summary

ALDI in Sebring, FL is seeking a Store Associate to merchandise, stock and cashier while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires 30+ hours weekly with starting pay at $19.00 per hour, plus scheduled increases over five years.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment (cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers).
• Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others.
• Organize, prioritize and complete tasks to maximize productivity.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock product according to planograms.
• Operate the POS system to process customer purchases and address scanning issues.
• Open additional check lanes to improve checkout efficiency.
• Maintain shelves and merchandising standards.
• Assist with curbside pickup and timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Support store management to achieve efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and proper equipment handling.
