Job summary

ALDI USA in Florida seeks a Store Associate to handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning to keep the store running smoothly.

You will deliver outstanding customer service, work with the ALDI team, and support operations with a strong attendance record. Starting wage is $18 per hour, with scheduled increases through Year 5.

This full-time role averages 30+ hours weekly and requires flexibility across shifts, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and exceptional store standards.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment including cash registers and POS.
• Follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Perform basic arithmetic and maintain attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others.
• Maintain attendance and meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Utilizes POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows line policy and opens additional check lanes as required.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and on time.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management to achieve efficiency and loss goals.
• Supports a safe work environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
