Job summary

The Miami Heat Retail Store at Dadeland Mall is seeking a Retail Associate to sell merchandise and attend to customers. Use product knowledge to promote all items and adhere to the customer service program.

Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience and strong customer service skills preferred. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include greeting customers, operating cash registers, achieving sales goals, and cross-selling while maintaining an orderly sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple tasks.
• Must be able to lift merchandise and boxes up to 50 pounds.

The Miami Heat Retail Store at Dadeland Mall is seeking to hire a Retail Associate! The Retail Sales Associate's main responsibility is to sell merchandise and attend to customers in the Dadeland Mall store. Effectively use product knowledge to sell all merchandise and adhere to the customer service program. Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience and strong customer service skills preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Operating cash registers.
• Achieving individual sales goals.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
• Increasing in-store sales.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
• Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
• Adhere to all policies and security procedures.
