Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a full-time Retail/Cashier in Williamsburg, VA. The role emphasizes customer service, accurate transactions, and keeping the sales floor neat and inviting.

You will greet customers, assist on the floor, process transactions quickly, help rotate stock, and maintain visual displays while complying with safety and privacy policies. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• No professional certifications required.
• The associate will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates enthusiasm and courteous behavior with customers.
• Greets customers upon entering the store and thanks them at checkout.
• Engages with customers and assists on the sales floor.
• Processes transactions quickly and accurately following cash handling guidelines.
• Participates in stocking and rotating fresh product on the floor.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, neat, and organized.
• Maintains wrap desks free of clutter.
• Maintains floor visuals and end caps to highlight products.
• Reports store cleanliness issues to management when needed.
• Works evenings and weekends as business needs dictate.
• Complies with safety and security policies.
