Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate in Michigan to merchandise, stock, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering exceptional customer service.

You'll work with the ALDI team, follow merchandising planograms, and support loss prevention, safety, and efficient checkout operations during 30+ hours per week. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with planned increases over time. ALDI offers competitive wages and benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service ability.
• Ability to operate store equipment (cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Ability to interpret ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong arithmetic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock shelves; follow planograms to maximize sales.
• Operate POS system to process purchases and handle scanning issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and maintain checkout efficiency; open additional lanes as needed.
• Assist in inventory procedures and proper product handling.
• Support store management in safety, loss prevention, and overall efficiency.
