Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a store associate in Michigan. You’ll merchandise, stock products, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. This is a full-time role averaging 30+ hours weekly with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour and progressive raises through Year 5.

Work with the ALDI team to support store operations, adhere to policies, and ensure a safe, accurate checkout. Retail experience is helpful but not required.

• Operate POS system for scanning and processing purchases.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases; inform management of scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
