Job summary

Michaels Stores is looking for a Store Associate to help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions. You will handle fast, friendly checkout and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards. You’ll assist with BOPIS/SFS, restock, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, planograms, merchandise recovery, and safety programs. Cross-trained in Custom Framing; flexible hours including nights and weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires team members to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and credit cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock merchandising and manage returns/go back process.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact professionally; uphold company values and be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
