Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time Retail Cashier to support store operations and customer service. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, well-presented sales floor. This role requires reliability, timely availability for evenings/weekends, and adherence to store policies.

The position emphasizes friendly, efficient service and teamwork to meet daily sales goals while complying with safety and privacy procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• No previous experience required for entry level.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly assistance throughout the store.
• Handle cash transactions accurately following cash handling guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and assist with visual presentation.
• Assist with stocking and restocking shelves as needed.
• Support store goals and adhere to safety and privacy policies.
