Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to help deliver a positive shopping experience for customers. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, and maintaining store presentation while following safety and loss prevention protocols.

You will work with fellow Associates and Store Leadership to ensure a friendly, efficient checkout and a clean, well-organized store that reflects our brand and standards.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful and cooperative manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security on the sales floor and ensure clear egress to exits.
• Greet customers, assist with merchandise, and answer questions in a courteous, knowledgeable manner.
• Operate registers, handle transactions accurately, and respond promptly to service calls.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and merchandised to company standards.
• Support loss prevention and follow MOS policies as required.
• Represent Ross Inc. with integrity and safeguard confidential information.
