Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to serve as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional in-store experiences and making product recommendations.

You will handle cash transactions, assist with visual merchandising, stock and process inventory, and support store leadership to meet business goals. Candidates should be 16 years or older, with up to 2 years of retail experience and a preference for a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years or less of retail experience.
• Ability to operate inventory and POS systems and retail software tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions or issues regarding product features, benefits, and availability; engage with consumers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
• Perform all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing product flow.
