Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to create memorable in-store experiences by assisting customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations that fit their needs. You will help maintain store standards for visual merchandising, process transactions at the register, and support inventory flow while upholding Columbia's values of service and teamwork.

Qualifications include being 16 years of age or older, with 0–2 years of experience and comfort using POS

Qualifications

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years (or less) of experience in a position or specialization.
• Experience operating inventory and POS systems and various retail software tools.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and issues about product features, benefits, and availability; engage with customers to understand needs and preferences.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from sales floor or stock room.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) accurately.
• Contribute to store profitability by managing product flow and replenishing stock efficiently.
