Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Laconia, NH is seeking a Store Team Member to help customers find products, ring up purchases, and deliver a friendly checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining in-stock, well-merchandised shelves while supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. This role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout with accurate cash handling
• Engage customers in Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) execution
• Maintain stock and merchandising, and complete merchandise recovery processes
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs
• Interact with customers and teammates in a respectful, positive manner
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
