Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members at our Laconia, NH location to deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail environment. You will assist customers, ring up purchases, and support merchandising, stock, and omni-channel processes across the store.

Responsibilities include aiding truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining in-stock shelves while upholding store standards and safety. Flexibility for varied shifts and a positive, team-oriented attitude is required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift items as needed
• Work in a public retail store setting with climate controlled areas and varied shifts

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and omni-channel processes (BOPIS & SFS)
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock levels, and merchandise presentation
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs
