Job summary

Michaels in Irving, TX is seeking a store team member to help customers, restock, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store. You will handle fast checkout, promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, enroll customers, and support BOPIS and SFS processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Willingness to promote store programs and enroll customers when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and returns processes to maintain in-stock layout.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties; assist shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and be a role model.
