Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate to deliver a high-quality customer experience. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean sales floor, and support operations across areas of the store as needed.

Responsibilities include ringing transactions, promoting loyalty programs, maintaining standards, and supporting safety and loss-prevention initiatives. We value teamwork and flexibility in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with customers.
• Support a positive store culture with honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and handle cash per procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising procedures and prepare merchandise for the floor.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization; participate in recovery when needed.
• Assist in store safety and loss-prevention efforts.
• Provide feedback and recognition as appropriate.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies and procedures.
• Support shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety initiatives to maintain a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
