Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Columbus, OH to help customers locate products, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in BOPIS/SFS, stock the floor, and maintain shelves to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

The role involves merchandising duties, truck unloading, and strict adherence to SOPs. Evening and weekend shifts are common, with opportunities for discount programs and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Process fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Stocking, truck unloading, planograms, and merchandise recovery.
• Maintain in-stock store and follow SOPs to ensure brand standards.
