Job summary

Windham Mountain Club's Shop is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for the winter season. The role is in-person at Windham, NY, with early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays required. Pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour based on experience, starting early December.

The associate will handle soft goods, hard goods and accessories, deliver a premier guest experience, and stay informed about snow conditions and events to assist guests effectively.

• Develop knowledge of all shop merchandise to better identify and serve guests' needs.
• Accurately operate POS systems for retail transactions.

• Perform various shop maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain knowledge of the ski area, programs, events, daily snow conditions and any other information that aids in communication with guests.

Welcome to Windham Mountain Club!

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

Seasonal Position: This part time role is available for the winter season.

Pay: $19-$22 per hour based on experience

Anticipated Start Dates: The Beginning of December

Schedule: Will require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Conditions: Must be able to get to a from work in all weather conditions. This is an indoor position.

Overview of Position:

The Shop at Windham Mountain Club is a multi-seasonal specialty retailer that carries a vast selection of equipment, clothing, and accessories for a variety of outdoor activities. The Retail Sales Associate is involved in all areas of The Shop’s soft goods, hard goods, and accessories. They are responsible for providing a premier shopping experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a knowledge of all shop merchandise to better identify and serve guests needs.
• Accurately operate POS systems for retail transactions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
