Job summary

Essenhaus Village Shops in Indiana is seeking team members to deliver outstanding guest service and assist guests with decisions at the register. You’ll help with merchandising, displays, and seasonal changes while keeping shelves tidy and inviting.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, a friendly personality, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays and holidays. Retail experience is a plus and basic math skills are important.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred and ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to count change and perform simple math operations accurately.
• Strong communication and friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Retail experience is a plus; ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding guest service at Village Shops.
• Assist guests with purchasing decisions and operate cash register.
• Work with Lead on merchandising, displays, and seasonal changes.
• Greet guests, stock and straighten shelves, and assist with inventory.
• Gift wrap as needed and keep the store neat and clean.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Maintain outstanding guest service at Village Shops
2. Assist guests with purchasing decisions
3. Operating cash register
4. Work directly with Village Shops Lead on merchandizing direction, displays, and seasonal changes
5. Give every guest a friendly greeting
6. Stocking and straightening shelves/racks
7. Assist with tagging items
8. Keeping store neat and clean
9. Gift wrap as needed
10. Assisting with inventory

Job Type:

1. Part Time, variable hours from 9.45 AM to 4.00 PM
2. Part Time, variable hours from 4.00 PM to 7.00 PM
3. Flexibility to work Saturdays and holidays (no Sundays)
