Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan in Clio is seeking motivated individuals for Part-Time and Full-Time Retail Associate positions at our Clio Store. Join a team-focused environment at 4082 W. Vienna Rd, Clio, Michigan, delivering friendly service and supporting donations and sales.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maximizing store sales and profit.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer/donor service.
• Cashier: operate register; 3–5 racks per hour as directed.
• Processor: price and display merchandise; 85–100 pieces per hour.
• Rack Runner: place product in proper location and color.
• Retail Donation Attendant: greet donors and maintain records.
• Retail Custodian: keep sales floor clean and organized.

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individuals to fill Part-Time & Full-Time Retail Associate Positions at our Clio Store located at 4082 W. Vienna Rd, Clio, Michigan.

$15.00 an hour
plus20% discount on in-store purchases !!

Career Advancement Opportunities

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in maximizing store sales and help increase the profit of Goodwill.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer/donor service.
• To achieve expectations for task assigned:
  • Cashier: Accurately operate cash register and conduct sales-related functionsas directed and according to policy, procedure and job standards; maintain cash register variance to Goodwill’s acceptable margin of error rate; run 3 racks per hour. Run 5 racks per hour if not on register.
  • Processor: Receive, process, price, and display merchandise as directedand according to policy, procedure and job standards; achieve production standard of 85-100 pieces per hour. Adhere to mandatory use of agency issued work gloves while sorting product.
  • Rack Runner: Run 5 racks per hour, getting product into proper place and color.
  • Retail Donation Attendant: Greet donors, assist with donations safely and professionally. Maintain accurate donation and bill of lading records, Keep donation area organized, Assist with truck loading/unloading. Adhere to mandatory use of agency issued work gloves.
  • Retail Custodian: Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, restroomsand breakroom. Empty trash, clean fixtures and shelving. Keep exterior areas clear of debris. Adhere to mandatory use of agency issued work gloves when handling chemicals.
