This position may serve as the "Supervisor in Charge" of the entire facility, responsible for ensuring high levels of guest and donor service. The role involves supervising retail and/or production activities to meet production and sales goals. All employees must adhere to Easterseals-Goodwill policies and procedures and participate in cross-training in all aspects of Goodwill operations, performing duties according to ESGW's Best Practices. Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in staff meetings to improve communication, such as daily tool box talks and monthly department meetings.
2. Providing superior guest service by handling transactions courteously and promptly, and addressing guest concerns with urgency.
3. Ensuring strict adherence to cash register, transaction, and cash handling procedures, and correcting errors as per established protocols.
4. Greeting guests proactively when they come within 10 feet.
5. Completing or delegating tasks to meet guest service standards.
6. Assisting with follow-up on Store Visit Reports and action plan completion.
7. Managing inventory through rack rolling, maintenance, and stock rotation.
8. Overseeing the management of newly purchased products for optimal return.
9. Maintaining retail display standards.
10. Handling administrative tasks such as reporting, opening and closing procedures, cash management, and stock reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods; capable of moving 20-100 pounds with assistance.
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Ability to move independently within the facility and community, with reasonable accommodation if needed.
• Physical and mental capacity to perform all job duties.
• Successful completion of a background check; having criminal convictions does not automatically disqualify applicants.

Experience
