FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Baton Rouge, LA to partner with the Store Manager to lead store operations and develop staff. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, sales growth, asset protection, and strong teamwork.

The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity and a store-performance bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, sick time, and 401k eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays; work in multiple locations as needed.
• Minimum age 18; High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Foster a customer-centric environment and address issues promptly.
• Train and supervise Pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open/close the store, count cash drawers, secure assets.
• Ensure asset protection and inventory control; manage loans and merchandising.
• Manage store operations, reporting, and profitability.
• Maintain operating standards per FirstCash guidelines.
• Oversee loan qualifications and value integrity of loans.
• Communicate store mission and profit objectives.
• Act as manager on duty when Store Manager is absent.
