Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Macclenny, FL to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop team members. You will support the Store Manager in policies, merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly shopping environment.

The role requires effective communication, organizational skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize, stock, and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and maintain store records.
• Ensure fixtures and displays stay promotional effective.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store.
• Other duties as assigned.
