Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Butler, PA. The role supports the Store Manager in daily retail operations, using leadership, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving to help meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.

You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure store policies are followed while creating a welcoming shopping environment for the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in management.
• Internal candidates: high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of experience in the Goodwill Team Leader role.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers to achieve production and quality goals.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures required of retail staff, so that retail operations reflect a positive internal and external appearance.
• Possess excellent oral/written communication, organizational, management, and problem-solving skills and demonstrate attention to detail and customer service.
