Job summary

Skechers in California is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Management Team across operations, lead a team, and ensure exceptional customer service. You’ll manage inventory, enhance visual merchandising, and execute strategic sales initiatives to contribute to store profitability.

You will oversee scheduling, store systems, and peak operations, while mentoring staff and driving revenue. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience is preferred but not required.
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure product displays and store layouts meet high Skechers standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and organize restocking for a seamless shopping experience.
• Operations Management: Oversee scheduling, opening/closing, and store operations; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Sales Management: Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies and exceeding targets.
• Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
