Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, drive sales, manage expenses and inventory, and deliver outstanding customer service in our Philadelphia area stores.

You will lead staff, train teams, recruit and develop talent, and ensure policy compliance, merchandising execution, and loss prevention. This role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, and occasional travel between stores.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of one year in retail management.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store staff quality and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead training and development for the store team.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training of store personnel.
• Assist, and provide feedback on annual performance evaluations for all store employees.
• Assist with expense management and shrink reduction strategies.
• Monitor compliance, safety and business standards across the store.
• Support customer service standards and merchandising execution.
• Ensure accurate and regular merchandise inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
