Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, organized store focused on customer service. You will supervise staff, assist with merchandise presentation, deposits, and store finances while protecting assets.

You will lead deployment of planograms, supervise scheduling and training, and ensure compliance with policies in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires reliable transportation and willingness to travel between tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.

• Manage merchandise reception, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Support inventory accuracy and cash controls, including deposits.
