Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager in Phoenix, AZ. The role combines store leadership with hands-on management of daily operations, staff development, and customer relations.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve financial goals, manage inventory and assets, and ensure excellent customer service while handling duties across a busy retail environment. This full-time position offers an hourly wage plus commissions based on productivity and store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work flexible retail schedule including weekends.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Experience with firearms and POS systems.
• Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations with the Store Manager.
• Lead and develop store employees and recruit top talent.
• Monitor assets, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
• Drive profitability through sales and customer relations.
• Ensure compliance with FirstCash standards and reporting.
• Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
