Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Baton Rouge to help run daily store operations and mentor team members. You will participate in recruiting, training, and driving customer satisfaction while supporting the Store Manager in achieving financial goals.

The role includes an hourly wage with commission on productivity and bonuses based on store performance. Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Willing to work 40+ hours per week with a flexible retail schedule.
• Cash handling experience required; firearms familiarity and certification preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple store locations as needed.
• Strong supervisory and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day store operations and staff development.
• Recruit, train, and retain top talent; promote a customer-centric environment.
• Monitor assets, manage inventory and cash handling processes.
• Assist with store metrics, profitability, and compliance with standards.
