Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Utah is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with 6+ months of management experience. The role partners with the Store Manager to run daily operations, recruit and develop staff, and maximize financial performance in a jewelry and general merchandise store.

You will earn an hourly wage plus commission and a store-performance bonus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, earned wage access, and paid time off. Flexible schedule required, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience supervising others and working flexible retail schedule.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly manner.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, ensure asset protection.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and security procedures.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising, reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability via goals.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
• Communicate with employees to align with mission and objectives.
