Cash America Pawn in Houston is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with 6+ months of management experience to partner with the Store Manager in leading daily store operations and promoting a customer‑centric environment.

You will recruit and develop staff, maximize profitability, manage loans and inventory, protect assets, and ensure service standards. The role offers hourly pay plus commission and a store performance bonus, along with benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Willing to perform physically demanding duties and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proven ability to supervise others.
• Able to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• Minimum age 18; HS Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
• Monitor and assist in training staff to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent via company channels.
• Open/close the store, count cash and merchandise, protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory and safety procedures.
