ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Assistant Store Manager is crucial to our success, supporting the Management Team in operations and team leadership. You will drive daily store performance, inspire employees, and ensure excellent customer service. Managing inventory, visual merchandising, and executing sales strategies will directly contribute to the store’s profitability and success.

COMPENSATION RATE:

STARTING RATE: $17.91

HOURLY RANGE: $17.91-$19.00

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive environment.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor for a seamless shopping experience.
  • Operations Management: Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and support peak operations, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Sales Management: Drive revenue through performance strategies, setting expectations, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality preferred
  • Sales skills to drive revenue and meet targets
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old at application time
