Job summary

CAMILLA is expanding its team in Short Hills and is hiring a Retail Assistant on a part-time basis. You will help create an exceptional in-store experience, support the Boutique Manager, process transactions, and keep the boutique running smoothly behind the scenes.

Ideal candidates will have prior premium retail or customer service experience, strong communication, and excellent organisational skills. You will work across customer-facing and operational tasks, including stock replenishment and

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, positive approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working across both customer-facing and operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an angelic level of service by warmly greeting customers and assisting with enquiries.
• Support the Boutique Manager and wider Boutique Tribe with the day-to-day operations of the boutique.
• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system and handle cash and card payments.
• Assist with replenishing stock and maintaining beautifully presented merchandise displays.
• Support inventory management, including monthly RFID inventory scans and stock counts.
• Receive, unpack and process deliveries efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment across both the boutique floor and back of house.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory shortages where required.
• Assist with promotional campaigns, seasonal launches and in-store events.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and escalate concerns where appropriate.

As our Retail Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping our boutique operating at its best, supporting both our customers and our Boutique Tribe across all areas of the business.

What a CAMILLA Retail Assistant will do...

• Comfortable working across both customer-facing and operational responsibilitiesConfident using Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Teams
• A proactive team player who enjoys supporting others and contributing to a positive team culture
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holiday periods where required
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs as part of daily stock handling and operational tasks
